A few days ago we decided to take a day trip to Kansas City to visit Union Station for a few hours. We were joined on the trip by Mark & Dortha.
At the Sedalia Amtrak station.

All Aboard !!!
The original main waiting area for 10,000 people.
Each door to the right and left each led to a loading platform beneath the building.
Lunch at Pierponts Restaurant was excellent.
Back on the train at 5:00pm we were back in Sedalia by 6:45.
