From Santa Fe Skies RV Park, Santa Fe, NM
We left Ozona Sunday morning with me doing the driving for about the first 120 miles or so, and Donna driving the remainder of the way to the Cummins dealership. We hooked up to the complimentary power (50amp), and got settled in to wait for their opening up Monday morning.
We decided to find a Wal-Mart Supercenter and following our GPS directions. However, it was not a Super Center but a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Grocery. Since groceries was what we came for, we just did our shopping there.
This morning we were in the shop by 8am and they started working on the slide hydrallic pump motor installation. The Foretravel Factory Parts folks had done an excellent job of getting the part to them before our arrival.
We were done with the work by about 9:30 and were hooked up and ready to roll by 10am. We are currently at Santa Fe Skies RV Park just outside Santa Fe where we plan to spend about a week.
We have quite a bit of housekeeping to do, now that we are set up, but we did take a few minutes to stop by and visit with Paul & Mary. We have been acquainted through Facebook for some time, but just now getting acquainted face to face.
When we arrived the temp was about 65, and the wind was howling up a storm. As I finish writing this the wind has subsided substantually, and the temp in now in the mid-50's. Low tonight expected to be 32*. Oops !!
We are really looking forward to our week in Santa Fe.
