From Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Tx
We headed back to Fredericksburg this morning for no other reason but to have lunch at Altdorf's Biergarten, the one that was closed yesterday. And it was well worth the trip. Much better selections and the lunch came with 3 sides rather than one side yesterday, plus a bowl of soup rather that a cup.
Last night Donna did a little research trying to find a friend of ours that we rode Harleys with back 8-10 years ago. She actually found his address for his home, so while in town we went to his house. No one was at home. He used to be in sales and traveled quite a bit, so we left a card. Hopefully, we will hear from him.
Before leaving town we stopped at Opa's Smoked Meats but only got a little corned beef and some Bavarian Mustard.
We got back to the coach about 1:30 and relaxed for a while.
Then about 5:30 we wondered over to the outdoor kitchen area in the park where our friend, Paul Tinkle, was getting a new Foretravel set up for viewing during the Free Ice Cream Social hosted by Foretravel, scheduled for 6:30.

By 6:30 a large crowd of maybe a hundred folks had gathered, looking at the coach and enjoying the ice cream.
