From Elkhart Campground. Elkhart, IN
... oh yeah.. we were in Elkhart, and just back from dinner with a bunch of friends last Friday night. When we got back to the park, a group of other friends had wrapped Bob & Molly's SUV.
Some of the ladies posing with the car...
L-R: Kathy, Dortha, Donna, Molly, Ellie
Saturday morning Donna and I took a short drive south to the little town of Nappanee, with its really neat downtown and several interesting Amish Establishments.
One of the businesses along the highway is a company that builds many, if not all, of the delivery vans we are all so familiar with, like Fed Ex and UPS. Starting with just a chassis, engine, transmission, and running gear...
and finishing with a complete unit ready for delivery..
Back at the campground it was Happy Hour time.
Sunday was a pretty laid back day as we mostly just waited around for more of the group to arrive. Greg and Lynette and Kevin and Arlene arrived sometime after lunch.
On Monday morning Donna and I ran a couple of errands as I waited from my new lens for my new camera to arrive. Then I put it work, testing various type of shooting and light conditions.
Donna in our kitchen preparing her famous brownies.
A few of the bunch... Jim & Ellie
Kevin & Donnie trying out some of the desserts...
Nick and Terry, the promoters of the Gypsy Journal Rally, stopped by for a quick visit.
More to report as soon as possible. So much fun going on its hard to sit down and get this blog written.
Thankfully, we are all easily entertained!! :) And gee, it is GREAT to see you guys!!! We have missed you!!! HUGS!!!
